This video presents some strategies for mining professionals to incorporate a production ramp-up into an open-pit mine project evaluation using SimSched DBS.
Depending on the complexity of the set of constraints and project assumptions in use, the mathematical model might succeed in finding a solution that maximizes the net present value (NPV). On the other hand, results could still have room for improvements and fine-tuning. This is the Engineering work and this video aims to provide further guidance in possible iterations to help you to create value for the project.
