At least 15 people have been killed in a car bombing at the gate of a hotel in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.
The Somali militant Islamist group Al－Shabaab has taken responsibility for the suicide attack on the Jazeera Palace Hotel which also injured more than 20 others， many seriously.
Local police say the car rammed the gates of the hotel before exploding.
The hotel houses the diplomatic missions for several nations， including China.
The militant group claims the attack was a response to attacks and helicopter bombing against al Shabaab by African Union forces and the Somali government.
