FOR THE FALAFEL BALL
1 LB DRIED CHICKPEAS (soaked overnight)
1/2 RED ONION (roughly chopped)
3 GARLIC CLOVES
1 JALAPENO (stem removed)
50g or 1 C. PARSLEY
50g or 1c. CILANTRO
5g or roughly 1 TSP BAKING POWDER
15g or 1 TBPS SALT
5g or roughly 2 TSP TURMERIC
5g or roughly 2 TSP CUMIN
Plus optional 1-2tbsp garbanzo bean flour
FOR THE TAHINI SAUCE
130-ish g TAHINI PASTE ( this strongly depends on your brand)
8g or 1 to 1.5 TSP SALT
1/2 LEMON JUICED or 15g
60-75g WATER
1/2 GARLIC CLOVE (sliced)
