How to build a mast and boom In your frontyard

7m mast, 90mm x 110mm
Boom 5m, 90mm x 85mm
All redwood will be wrapped in fibreglass
Sail track to accommodate 22mm sail slug
Sail made of dacron from Nautilus, Auckland

Had to make the work bench to build this. Piece of string and a level to keep everything straight. Home made jig for the scarfing angle, home made jig for the router. And a lot of Tamanuitera’s warm temps for gluing.

Use what you have, back yard, front yard, Mum’s mats (just don’t let her catch you!) 👍🏽😁
