As the title says, this is pretty much a straight port of Lemmings onto the Atari 8-bit computers (here: emulated on an XL with 64kB of RAM).
While not being comparable to the C64 version (the Lemmings erm sorry, Brundles just kinda judder too much, probably charset graphics, and the soundtrack is not as good of course) this is very fun and well made. Released in 1993 by KE-Soft, this is a great game. Many colors, good controls (you can use a joystick, an Atari ST mouse or an Atari Trackball), and overall good gameplay prove that idea.
Interesting to note is that there isn't any slowdown when the area you look at is filled with Brundles. The scrolling is always fluent, but, as I've said before the juddering Lemmings kinda bother me. But overall, if you look for a good Lemmings clone for the Atari 8-bit machines, go for this one. The "competing" Lemmings by DATRI Software is quite nice as well, but it has some problems with its controls and to master even only one single level, your accuracy has to be perfect. But maybe i haven't really figured that one out yet...
