This is my favorite air dry clay; it's pure white and has a smooth texture. There are only three ingredients and you can make it in the microwave in less than 10 minutes.
Recipe
1 cup cornstarch
2 cups baking soda
1 1/2 cups cold water
Combine dry ingredients.
Add water to dry ingredients and stir well.
Microwave for 3 minutes and stir.
Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and stir.
Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and stir.
Microwave for 1 minute, check the texture to see if it's ready to be kneaded. Depending on your microwave you might need to microwave it for one more minute.
Turn dough onto cornstarch dusted surface.Cover with a damp paper towel and let rest for 10 minutes to cool.
Knead dough until smooth.
Store in a sealed plastic bag in the refrigerator.
