Bantayan island in the province of Cebu was one of our favourite stops while travelling in the Philippines. Not only does it have beautiful beaches and a relaxing, chill island vibe, but it also has a beautiful mangrove forest. The Obo-ob Mangrove Garden was a peaceful place to explore. You can go through a walk on elevated boardwalks through the mangrove forest with sea views. This eco park includes a bamboo tower you can climb with stunning views and a mangrove tunnel, which not only is beautiful but also provides much needed shade on a hot day. The entrance fee was 55 pesos per person ($1USD).
