Shop for the new Kia K900 on CarGurus: [ Ссылка ]
The Kia K900 is the genuine article: a luxurious, comfortable, and competent luxury sedan with plenty of power and legroom. But shoppers have long associated Kia with value, not luxury. Can the 2nd generation K900 shed that budget-friendly image and win buyers in the full-size luxury sedan segment?
A 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 drives all four wheels in the K900 to the tune of 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. The engine is the same one used in Kia’s Stinger grand-touring sports car, and the Genesis G70 and G90 luxury sedans. It has no problem driving the K900’s 4,600 pounds smoothly and confidently.
The VIP package adds chauffeur switches to the front passenger seat, ventilation and a wireless device-charging pad to the rear seats, and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel ahead of the driver. It’s the only option package available for the K900 (which comes in only one trim), and it makes the sedan feel like a true luxury vehicle.
Kia’s UVO infotainment system runs on the K900’s 12.3-inch touchscreen. It’s sharp and clear, and most importantly, easy to use. Safety equipment include’s Kia’s Drive Wise suite, which packages forward-collision avoidance, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and a surround-view monitor with other advanced safety technology. Kia’s blind-spot cameras are clever, displaying a video view of the car’s right and left blind-spots directly on the instrument panel when the appropriate blinker is used.
All in all, the K900 starts at $59,900 and tops out at $64,895 with the VIP package and destination charge. For more information on the 2019 Kia K900, read George’s full review on CarGurus: [ Ссылка ]
