8 THINGS I LOVED ABOUT SRI LANKA
Sri Lanka was voted the best country to visit in 2019 by Lonely Planet. The country's tourism industry was poised to have a huge year before the tragic April bombings.
The country hasn't recovered yet which is why I decided to create this video showcasing all the things I loved about Sri Lanka. If you travel for food like we do, then you're going to enjoy delicious dishes like rice and curry, kottu, string hoppers, roti, and sambal.
If you like nature and wildlife encounters, then be sure to visit places like Ella, Mirissa, and Yala National Park.
If cultural attractions are your thing, then you're going to love its many UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Sigiriya, Dambulla Cave Temple, Polonnaruwa, and Kandy.
No matter what type of traveler you are, there's a lot to love about Sri Lanka so I hope this video inspires you to visit this beautiful country in 2020.
