A true fuzztortion! Took it out of the box and it immediately inspired the first song. Also discovered it sounds pretty rad on bass too. The shape and tone controls are really interesting in terms of how they interact to sculpt the tone. Personally I am enjoying the shape control to the left of noon, and the tone rolled back (it's a tone cut, like a rat, so...clcokwise is reduced highs). It's got a lot of body to it set that way and a nice and smooth sound that absolutely rips on chords and solo tones. Then roll the tone up to add more highs and stack it into another dirt pedal... yes absolutely, yum. A great thing I love about this pedal is that yeah you can have your muffy smooth fuzz, but it also has enough bite to cut on its own without having to stack. There's a LOT of treble and volume on tap!
