Using a simple, general trend for the ionic charge for elements on the Periodic Table, in this video we find the ionic charge for Hydrogen (H). The periodic table is organized like a chart for ionic charge with elements in many groups having the same charge.
Often in chemistry you’ll use the ionic charge of an element like Hydrogen to figure predict the products of a reaction or write the name or formula for a compound.
