It is hard to say whether it is the only source of a leak, as most leaks are caused by punctures, not weld issues.
If the valve is leaking on an EXPED mat, there is only one product recommended using for the repair, and that is Seam Grip+WP, by Gear Aid. With dry/cure time of 6-8 hours, it allows the time needed to soak into the area and create a seal.
