Organised by Re-Imagine Europa, @icleieurope , @europeanfoodforumeff4653 , @Novonordiskfoundation and the @pressecdr ' NAT - Commission for Natural Resources, this workshop focused on analysing the polarising narratives surrounding regional food systems across EU Member States. The goal was to establish regional multi-stakeholder platforms that foster cooperation, leading the way for more sustainable local food systems.
Following a keynote address by Beáta Olga Felkai, Deputy Secretary of State at the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, and with moderation of Maria Teresa Buco, Public Affairs Manager at Novo Nordisk Foundation, a panel discussion and a Q&A session were conducted with fruitful insights and participation of Piotr Całbecki, President of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, Irène Tolleret, Ad-Interim Chair of the European Food Forum and Vice-President of Leader France, Marcin Napiórkowski, Contemporary Mythologies Scholar at Re-Imagine Europa, and Anna Bruen, Senior Expert of Sustainable Food Systems at ICLEI Europe.
