No matter what you decide, you will be OK.

I’m clearing out my studio to make way for more art supplies and since we are so close to the holidays and because of my Catholic upbringing, I thought I would showcase the artwork I have Advent Calendar style….

Where every day (or few days) I’ll show you some art from my shop and tell you a bit about it.

And this little number is something I did using a huge sheet of watercolor paper, markers, graphite, water soluble crayons, oil crayons, acrylic paint and oil paint. Yes, I threw the entire kitchen sink at this painting because….I wanted to see what would happen.

Because that’s the entire point of not just making art but living our lives.

We can create and live in our best moments when we adjust our attitudes to just trying something out and seeing if it works. I’m a recovering creature of negative thinking and a big thing this painting taught me is to be ok with experimenting, that no one choice will forever doom or seal my fate.

Instead, it taught me to look at my life choices as stepping stones encouraging me to grow and learn because no matter what I decide, I will be OK.
