In today’s video, we are building Synth Strings using Ableton’s native device, “wavetable”. Wavetable is on the top of my list for synths I like to work with. Its really easy to use, and gives excellent visual feedback for what is happening, making sounds easy to design. Synth strings are a fundamental sound to create using a synthesizer. It’s one of my building block sounds and has some similarities to a supersaw. Today I’m breaking it down and making it simple.
