The final video I have from Jack Pease’s Dorset extravaganza, filmed 30th May 2013, and featuring a rise on the back three followed by an extent and a half of Erin Minimus – a slightly unusual choice, but an alternative to Stedman (which, as we all know, Aaron does not approve of!).
Winterborne Stickland are a sweet little four, which sound pretty and handle reasonably, having been rehung in 2003. In 2010, the out-of-tune treble was replaced with a Warner bell from the old ring at Shiplake, Oxfordshire, this bell being sourced by the Keltek Trust and hung by Whites of Appleton. I understand from Jack that these bells are no longer rung from the ground floor, having been moved up to a mezzanine floor in more recent times.
