Enthusiasm comes off Patrick and Rachel Turo in palpable waves. Here on Twisted T Farm, their property on the west side of Willis, Texas, that enthusiasm is evident not just in the Turos themselves, it’s seen in every corner. It’s seen in the care they put into their crops, animals, products, community, and—most of all—their family.
The Turos have worked with NRCS Texas to install two high tunnels to help them extend the growing season of the crops on their farm. In addition, NRCS has been able to provide conservation technical assistance on other aspects of their operation.
