When applying for a B-1/B-2 visitor visa to the U.S., you’ll need to prove that you have “strong ties” to your home country.
USCIS wants to make sure you’ll return home once your trip to the U.S. is complete. If you can’t prove strong ties, you may be denied a visitor visa. Here are some examples of strong ties and the types of evidence you can use to prove it.
