Free Word invited a panel of experts in front of a lively audience to take a candid look at how young people feel about the news.
The debate was chaired by Dekan Apajee. With 10 years of experience as a producer and broadcaster at the BBC, Dekan has reported on everything from the 2012 Olympics to the 7/7 bombings. He now works as a freelance media consultant and trainer. Other panellists included:
