Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested one person for "drifting and driving in a reckless manner" in Sohar.

In a statement online, ROP said, "The North Batinah Governorate police command arrested a citizen on charges of reckless driving and drifting. The accused was arrested after a viral video clip that spread through social media of the driver of the vehicle while he was drifting in several places in Wilayat Sohar."
