Unboxing the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, a 'Core Edition' version of the original budget smartphone from last year with triple camera setup, SD750G performance and bigger battery. It's cheaper, but is it one of the best budget phones of 2021? Here's a hands-on review of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G's specs, features, gaming smarts and camera tech, ahead of my full coverage later this week.

Many of the specifications are similar, with an OLED screen pumping out crisp HDR visuals with a 90Hz refresh rate. You've got enough grunt for PubG, Call of Duty etc, complete with Game Space smarts - my test session was smooth and satisfying. And in some cases, the CE is better, with its headphone jack and enlarged battery.

That camera is headed by a 64MP primary sensor, with a wide-angle and mono shooter alongside. You've also got a 16MP selfie snapper. Hoping to bring my full thoughts on that and the rest of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in my review, which should be coming next week!
