The Labour Party has launched its football policy, pledging to work closely with the FAI to provide significant investment in the game from the grassroots to international level and make a career in the sport in Ireland more viable.
The Labour Party has also promised to expand football as a transition year subject, provide a portion of broadcast revenue to League of Ireland clubs and work with the Executive in Northern Ireland to consider the feasibility of an all-island football league.
