How is this Italian Island in the Mediterranean coping with the pandemic? Is Sardinia safer than our lives in Malaysia during Covid-19? Is Asia safer than Europe?

Yes the sad news is true, we have left Malaysia after 5 months… This is not the end of our Malaysian adventure but an extended interval while we return home, as they say in Malaysia 'Balik Kampung' (going home).

We venture to the island of Sardinia where Giulia is from and compare how the island of Sardinia is dealing with Covid-19 to both Malaysia & the rest of Europe.

We also visit a cafe for a traditional breakfast eaten in Sardinia and eat something you can ONLY find in Cagliari….

There were some requests for this video, so we thought we'd share the experience and updates as they come. There is more to come from us on this island that is more than a stones throw away from Italy... Sardinia is a region traditionally likes to emphasise it's autonomy and there are many things you'll find here that you won't find in mainland Italy.

Giulia is going to be giving us the local insight over the next few videos - so stayed tuned or as we say in the UK, keep it locked!

**We voluntarily quarantined for over two weeks in Sardinia before making this as we wanted to take precautions.

We are Pat & Giulia, a couple from 🇬🇧 and 🇮🇹 living in London.
