Ruins, Woods and Film Locations in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.
Two days on the Welsh / English border, we visit the sculpture trail in the Forest of Dean on a crisp Winter’s day. We saw the wild boars but were too slow to get them on camera.
The second day we visited Puzzlewood, a picturesque wood which has been a film location for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Harry Potter, Merlin and Dr Who.

We then visit the impressive old ruins of Tintern Abbey in the heart of the Wye Valley. This view was an inspiration for the poet William Wordsworth.
