The graduating class of 2026 discuss their experiences discovering devised theatre as the first cohort of the University of Regina's new BFA in Devised Theatre and Performance Creation. Launched in the fall of 2022, this boutique program is the first of it's kind in Western Canada, offering forward-thinking theatre training in state-of-the-art facilities, small class sizes, strong connections to Saskatchewan's cultural community, and world-class instruction from established theatre practitioners, guest artists, and scholars. The new BFA in Devised Theatre and Performance Creation, and our new BA in Theatre and Drama Studies are direct-entry programs and share a common first year.
