Munich plays host to the unique Eisbach River standing waves - artificial waves that surfers use to ride and perform tricks. This surfing film was shot as a not-for-profit venture, a short documentary to show the vibrant surfing culture and lifestyle in one of Germany's most affluent cities.
Martina, 21, is one of a growing number of young people who are introduced to surfing through the Eisbach wave in the city's English Garden. In the film she talks about her love of surfing and Munich's surf culture.
