Jowar Paratha Recipe: A Healthy, Gluten-Free Delight
Jowar Paratha is a wholesome and nutritious Indian flatbread that's perfect for weight loss and maintaining a healthy diet. Made with fiber-rich jowar flour and packed with vegetables, it's gluten-free, low in calories, and highly satiating.
Ingredients
1 cup jowar flour
1 cup fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves, finely chopped
1/2 cup cabbage, grated
1/2 cup carrot, grated
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 tbsp green chili-garlic-ginger paste
1/2 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 cup water (adjust as needed)
Salt to taste
Keep the dough covered for 5-10 mins.
Keep a wet cloth while rolling the dough balls.
Pat with hands for flattening the dough.
Cook on both sides.
Serve with dahi, green chutney or any other dip of your choice.
