Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address said that India has not been affected tremendously by COVID-19 despite a large number of cases. He said that wearing a mask is "absolutely necessary" in these times. He also said India will manage its economy which has been wrecked by the pandemic and is bound to recover rapidly.

Amid the coronavirus crisis, wearing masks is absolutely necessary he stressed. He also said that almost all railways and roadways have reopened. he added that almost all the offices are open now and people are back to business but even minor negligence can cost us dearly.
