STORYLINE:
Colombia's capital shook Thursday when a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck, according to reports by the United States Geological Service.
USGS reported a second 5.7 magnitude quake shortly after the first.
The epicenter of both quakes was around 100 miles (160 km) southeast of Bogotá, according to USGS.
Many residents left the buildings they were in as sirens sounded.
It was not known if anyone was injured during the episode.
