During this module of the Dräger Neonatal Nursing Course, we focussed on the pathophysiology of lung injury and the most common lung injuries associated with lung immaturity and mechanical ventilation such as Transient Tachypnoea of the newborn, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and Hypoplastic Lung. We have also presented basic ventilation strategies such as PC-SIMV, PC-A/C, Volume Gurantee Ventilation.
