Topic Description:
Naming basic 2-D shapes. Identifying some of the characteristics (corners and sides) of 2-D shapes. Making patterns and finding missing items in pattern sequences.
Learning Targets:
I can show a circle, rectangle and triangle.
I can tell the difference between a circle, a rectangle and a triangle by looking at the number of corners and sides.
I can see several kinds of patterns.
I can make and find missing items in patterns.
