Goes by Porcini, King Bolete, Penny Bun, Cep, Steinpilz, Panza and many more.

Boletus Edulis is Mycorrhizal — which means that it grows in a symbiotic relationship with forests. It provides nutrients to the roots of trees, and also thrives off the carbs and sugars the tree produces. It needs a network of trees to survive. Therefore these mushrooms are often sold dried, and foraged in the wild.
