If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your S10 and don't have the money for a big fancy caliper/rotor swap. Look in to doing the 1998 Blazer front spindle and caliper swap. It is a direct swap and is a nice upgrade compared to what the S10's come with from the factory. There isn't much to it, and is pretty straight forward.
Here is a parts list that you'll need:
Right and Left 98+ Blazer spindle( 2wd or 4wd)
Right and Left 98+ Blazer caliper (2wd or 4wd)
Right and Left 98+ Blazer hub bearings
New ball joints if you'd like
