For indigenous Tasmaians a treaty with the State Government has been a long time coming .. well over 200 years.
In June the Premier announced plans for a treaty-making process, and since then meetings with Aboriginal communities have been held across the state.
But coming to an agreement is likely to be complicated, with debate over Aboriginal identity and whether there should be one treaty or many.
