Fifty four years ago, I walked the Pennine Way at a time when there was no internet, smart phones nor even a mobile phone.
This year, I am trying to repeat the walk with phones, cameras and GoPro. Trying to "think young", I am going to produce a daily vlog of the walk and try to talk about the differences between then and now together with anecdotes of hill walking as it used to be. I took only 36 photographs in 1967 and I want to try and repeat those photographs this time and take lots more to produce a photo book
Using our caravan as a base, my wife drops me off in the morning and collects me in the evening. We have booked four sites gradually moving up the country.
I have managed to edit a few days worth of video. When I get home, I will re-edit them and include some still photographs as appropriate (that’s mostly where I forgot to take video film).
I hope you enjoy them and thanks for watching.
