On a recent trip to the Coronado Islands in Baja Mexico, we found an octopus on the run and managed to have the camera rolling at the time. The octopus will shoot a trail of ink to camouflage itself and to provide a distraction for it to sneak away when being threatened by predators. Its pretty wild how you can see it instantly change colors when it crawls into the eel grass. They camouflage themselves so well its always a pleasure when you can actually see these in the open cruising around
