Today well be reviewing part number RR02. This is the Brophy trailer rope ring. It is a bolt-on installation, and it has a nice zinc plated finish with a plastic bezel pan. It is a bolt-on trailer rope ring. No mounting hardware is included, so you will need to purchase that separately. This can either be a surface mount or a recess mount.
When using it as a recess mount you can actually user the grommet or the bezel pan here to use the opening as a guide for the size hole that you need to trim out. Well just go ahead and measure that inside dimension for you. That holes going to need to have a diameter of three inches. You can see here is the point where you would mount your rope. When not in use that will lay flat and out of the way so it doesnt take up any additional space.
It is a triangle design. At its widest point its going to give us an opening of about one and seven-eighths of an inch. The mounting holes here on the bottom, these mounting holes are going to give us a measurement of five-sixteenths of an inch, so that size bolt or screw would work well as well as a quarter of an inch. That would give you a little bit more room to work with. One rope ring is included.Thats going to do it for todays review of part number RR02.
