Adventures Enabled is an online series that takes America’s Wounded Warriors on expeditions across North America to experience the profound healing power of nature. The warriors are US military men and women from all wars that have been injured in combat, and these are their stories.

Returning home from the battlefield is often the beginning of an all-new war that is taking an average of 22 lives a day. In an effort to put a stop to this, Wounded Warrior Outdoors – a 100% volunteer not-for-profit organization – is bringing together the warrior community and enabling them to rebuild themselves and forge a new life.
