Dragon fruit, also known as Pitaya, comes from a fruit-bearing cactus. It tastes similar to a kiwi or pear. You’ll find dragon fruit with either white flesh or a bright magenta-colored flesh. The dragon fruit with magenta flesh is sweeter and has more antioxidants than the white version. That’s what we’re using in this dragon fruit smoothie recipe to create a beautiful pink hue (plus, a boost of antioxidants!).
