This is truly a 1 of a kind John Deere 5020 and you will be hard pressed to find one anywhere else that is nicer! It was restored under the guidance of Tom Mead, son of Ed Mead who was the originator of the 5010 and 5020 repwers right here in Amboy, IL. Ed Mead in the later years sold the rights of the repower kit to Cummins and then they repowered tractors right in their factory in Rock Island, IL. When we purchased this tractor on an estate sale there was some documentation from Cummins talking about the soon to be released repower kits for 5020 tractors. A copy of this letter is pictured.
