A massive storm battered Alaska over the weekend causing flooding in several areas.

Multiple homes were destroyed and power outages were reported throughout the area. Hundreds of people were forced to evacuate their homes to safer ground on Saturday morning when the storm started raging.

Coastal flood warnings and high wind warnings were issued for several areas.

Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy declared the crisis a disaster emergency.
