JustAnswer Customer: I have a KitchenAid stove.
JustAnswer Customer: The keypad says "Stuck Key Err F2EO".
JustAnswer Customer: How do I unstick the keys?
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: Hello, and thank you for using this service.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: I'll be helping you with your problem today.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: F2 E0 doesn't always mean that the keypad is just stuck--most of the time is means that the keypad is shorted and will need to be ordered and replaced to fix the issue.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: If you wan to try to un-stick the buttons, unplug the stove or turn the circuit breaker off.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: Then use a hair dryer and heat up the touchpad.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: Rub your fingers over the buttons to see if you can unstick a button if by some chance one of them is stuck.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: Plug the oven back in and see what happens.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: If it still doesn't work, then you need to order and replace the touchpad because it has failed.
JustAnswer Customer: OK.
JustAnswer Customer: Thanks.
JustAnswer Customer: That unstuck the keys, maybe.
JustAnswer Customer: I tested the buttons to turn on.
JustAnswer Customer: It worked but won't turn off unless I put in a "cook duration" time, then it will automatically go off when the duration is done.
JustAnswer Customer: What's up with the "off" button?
JustAnswer Customer: That seems to be stuck or not functioning?
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: The "off" button could be the reason you're getting the error in the first place.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: You can try to heat it up and see if you can get it working by rubbing it also, but chances are you'll just need to replace the touchpad.
JustAnswer Customer: I heated, rubbed, pushed, talked to it, but it doesn't seem to be working.
JustAnswer Customer: It says "cooking complete" which this display usually goes away by itself.
JustAnswer Customer: So, I probably need to call someone out to look at it after all, huh?
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: that's up to you if you want to call someone to look at the unit, but the touchpad will need to be replaced to fix the issue.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: If you think you can replace the touchpad yourself you can always enter your model number at Repairclinic.com or partselect.com and order the touchpad and replace it yourself.
JustAnswer Customer: I won't be repairing it myself!
JustAnswer Customer: I'm a single woman without those kind of skills!
JustAnswer Customer: Crap!
JustAnswer Customer: OK thanks.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: alright, that's understandable.
Tyler Z.: Home Appliance Technician: I'm sorry about the bad news but I do wish you the best.
