This video explains how you can manually use the condenser cleaning function of an LG Tumble Dryer.
Note 1: This function is only available on selected models. We cannot comment for each individual model if the function is available or not. Please try it on your appliance but remember not to overfill the appliance. Never put in more than the suggested amount.
Note 2: On some models, instead on the lint filter symbol (as shown in the video) you may see 'OF' in combination with a blinking water tank symbol. In this case, the drain pump first pumps water to the drain tank and then starts the condenser cleaning function. In this case the cleaning does not stop automatically, so you are advised to manually stop the program after ~30 minutes.
Note 3: Take care to pour the water in the lintfilter hole and not in the drum. Failing to do so may lead to leakages.
For newer models with the "Condenser Care" function on the display, please consult your owner's manual for instructions.
