What about the toys in Al's Toy Barn?
- Great Question! What about those toys? First thought is about window shopping as a kid. I stared longingly at many a toy that I would never go on to own, but those toys still sourced tremendous admiration from me. Also, many of the toys that come to life in the barn appear to be the store models or part of a display. These specific action figures would most likely get the most attention and/or interaction with store patrons.

What about the Prospector? Didn't he sit on a "Dime Store Shelf" watching every other toy get sold?!
- This is very true. His consciousness during his days at the store are admittedly the hardest to currently explain. From his days as part of Al's collection on the other hand, is far easier. Al, although depicted as a kind of "villain" in this film, is a mere collector of toys. And many collectors do buy and sell fairly regularly as a way to maintain interest or just to fuel their collection other ways. I think Al probably has a "child at heart" mentality towards these collectibles and could easy fuel the prospector.
