5,500 primary school teachers who took the Proficiency Course in April will be promoted in the next one month, as the Teachers Service Commission seeks to utilise the Sh 2.2 billion allocated for promotions in the current financial year.However, KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion insists they will not sign any Collective Bargaining Agreement in October if it does not have better pay for teachers.
