Ingredients
Chickpea
Boil 2 large potatoes until fork tender
Chickpeas 480g (drained weight)
1 litre water
3/4 tablespoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Boil and cover with lid for 6 mins
Break the potato into small pieces and add to Chickpeas
2 tablespoon Chaat masala
1 tablespoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 tablespoon black salt
Cook for around 4-5 mins until sauce is thick
Tamarind water
120g tamarind
Approx 2 cup water, keep adding until you get right consistency
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
2 teaspoon Chaat masala
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
Juice of half a lime or lemon
Finish
1 chopped red onion
2 boiled eggs sliced
2 tablespoon chopped cucumber
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 cup fresh coriander
