In the movie Spotlight, the real tale of the Boston globe team that uncovered and published the story of child molestation in the Boston priesthood is told and the real journalists whose story is told are (in alphabetical order): Marty Baron, Ben Bradlee Jr., Matt Carroll, Sacha Pfeiffer, Mike Rezendes, and Walter 'Robby' Robinson. The six of them spoke to David Poland about the effort behind the story and how it is to be turned into movie characters.
