This is my first attempt in trying to clean up some early rusty tin cans with citric acid! I really didn't want to damage the remaining artwork and ended up with a very successful outcome on one example, but a disappointing result on the other!
I think the process has merit, and would use it again - but need to be careful on the paint type and perhaps conduct a small test on the item first.
