Authorities in Cape Town say cooler weather conditions are likely the reason for the lower than expected number of people flocking to the city's beaches. Day of Goodwill or Boxing Day as its still widely called, is usually one of the busiest beach days of the year. Law enforcement officials say people have been generally well behaved, although they have confiscated over four thousand bottles of liquor from various beaches.
