EAD card is a crucial document that you need if you plan to work after graduation. This is a document which proves that you are authorised to work in the USA. The fees for the application is $410 in 2023.

Processing times for EAD are 2-3 months right now so make sure you apply well in advance. They have a premium service but you don’t want to pay $1,500 for that!!

Make sure that you take your time and fill all the documents correctly and upload all the documents because the $410 is NON-REFUNDABLE! You won’t get it even if your application is rejected.

The documents that you need to fill EAD application online are:

1) Passport
2) I-94
3) CPT I-20 (if you had an internship or co-op)
4) OPT I-20
5) Passport photo as per USCIS guidelines
